Berlin, a Money Heist spin-off series centered on the popular character Berlin, will debut on Netflix on December 29, 2023. The streaming service has confirmed the release date on its social media handle as it unveiled the teaser of the show, which will feature the actor. Pedro Alonso returns to play Andres de Fonolosa aka Berlin.


According to Netflix, Berlin is one of the most extraordinary thieves ever to pull off the title character. "There are only two things that turn a bad day into a great day: love and a millionaire's salary. Berlin is enjoying his golden years, when he has no idea of ​​his illness. And he's not trapped like a cat and mouse in a Spanish mint. This is where he's at his most extraordinary. Begins the preparations for the heist: making 44 million worth of jewels disappear like some sort of magic trick.

To do this, he enlists the help of one of the three gangs he's ever stolen from," the official storyline reads.


Berlin will also feature Michelle Jenner, Begona Vargas, Tristan Ullo, Julio Pena Fernandez and Joel Sanchez. The series also stars Itziar Ituno and Najwa Nimri, the original stars of Money Heist. They played the female roles of Raquel Murillo and Alicia Sierra respectively.
