Ran Vijay Singh Balbir (Ranbir Kapoor) loves his father Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor) very much. A business tycoon who never neglects to spend time with his family. He is only focused on business. A few years later, Ran Vijay marries Geetanjali ( Rashmika Mandanna ) and leaves for the US after an argument with his father. Vijay returns after many years after learning that his father was attacked. Vijay takes control of everything to find out who is behind the attack. Did Vijay find a secret enemy ?        The answer to this question is animal.

Animal has emerged as Ranbir Kapoor's biggest performance till date. Ranbir Kapoor is seen inhabiting the character of Ran Vijay Singh Balbir. The story shows Ranbir in different ages. The man excels and shows just the right amount of aggression in every look.

Rashmika Mandanna is playing a bold role in 'Animal'. She played the character of Geetanjali the best. Anil Kapoor has also played the role given to him perfectly. But its full potential was not utilized. Bobby Deol stole the show with his wild looks and attitude. But more scenes for him could have done better in the second half. Shakti Kapoor, Prithvi and others have also done their roles well.
